The are some lovely SHORT walks available through our village along the river starting at the Moulin l'Abbé towards the very well known Orangerie, where you can visit art exhibitions, local arts & crafts shows and many more. Our well presented Brocante takes place a couple of times a year in our village. We are also pride ourselves in the annual classic car show and hill run. The Christmas Market is also worth a visit with its delicious Truffles tasting.

Celles-sur- Belle (also Petites Cités de Caractère) with its annual motorbike jumble in March in the grounds of the Abbey (15km)

Marais Poitevin, a large area of marshland with plenty of activities, at the other side of Niort

Château de Cherveux (25km)
The 'Puy du Fou' (Grand Parc & Shows) south of Cholet is absolutely fantastic and FUTUROSCOPE in Poitiers is also highly recommended.
Of course there is La Rochelle with its AQUARIUM and historical old harbor.
The airports of Portiers and La Rochelle are either 45km or 100km away.
